Janitorial Technicians
Janitorial Technician will perform cleaning of office areas, shop areas, restrooms, cafeterias, inside and outside entry areas
Normal Duties include vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping and emptying trash and spot cleaning carpet.
Description of Duties:
-
Removal of dirt and dust from facilities using standard cleaning techniques.
-
The collection and removal of trash from facilities and supporting areas.
-
Provide facility users a healthy environment by using appropriate cleaning methods and products.
-
Protect the safety of others by using properly labeled chemicals, warning others of hazards e.g. appropriate use of wet floor signs and reporting safety concerns.
-
Adhering to all Rose Cleaning Service and Site regulations, Safety policies and procedures.
-
Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.

Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors,
-
elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.

Sweeps, scrubs, finishes, and polishes floor.

Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.

Dusts furniture and equipment.

Polishes metalwork.Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.

Experience:

Backhoe Operators
-
Operates backhoe to dig ditches and culverts and loads sand, rocks, etc.
-
Operates landscaping equipment and performs a variety of grounds keeping tasks; maintains parks ball fields and other landscaped areas; edges sidewalks, borders, and plant beds; trims weeds and grass; applies pesticides if qualified.

Must have an understanding of control levers for movement of bucket.

Operates equipment in street and pedestrian traffic, around other ground utilities, and in other tight places requiring care and skill.

Performs minor repairs and maintenance to assigned equipment.
-
Cleans and washes equipment on a periodic basis and performs routine maintenance.
-
Reports any unsafe conditions of equipment and other necessary repairs to supervisor and/or mechanic
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
-
1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
